He transformed himself into Lord Shiva himself using his powers but his intentions were not attained as Goddess Parwati realized that the man standing in front of her is not Lord Shiva and saw called Lord to help her. Jalandhar’s wife was an eminent devotee of Lord Shiva the battle due to Jalandhar’s wife Lord Shiva was unable to slaughter that demon, Then Lord Vishnu tricked Jalandhar’s wife by transforming himself as Jalandhar the moment she got a glimpse of her husband she roused up from her Pooja and Shiva then killed Jalandhar. When Jalandhar’s wife got to know about all this she cursed Lord Vishnu to spend the rest of his life as a Shila and this is how Muktinath originated.
Pashupatinath Temple
The name Pashupati means ‘lord of the beasts’. Pashupati is a combination of two words. ‘Pashu’ means beasts, and ‘pati’ means lord or protector. No one has complete information about the construction of the temple some believe that the temple was constructed in the 4th century. The Temple is situated on the banks of the Bagmati River. The unique Linga of this temple is believed to be self-originated.
The shiv linga is called ‘mukhalinga’ or the linga with faces or ‘mukhs’.It has four faces on four sides, and the top face also indicates the multiple incarnations of avatars of Lord Shiva. These five faces symbolize the five Panch tattvas or five natural elements that make the universe. Each of these faces has two hands, one that holds the kamandal and the other that holds a Rudraksha Mala. It is only in the Pashupatinath Temple that the Shiv linga is dressed in gold ornaments otherwise no other Shiva linga is embraced with ornaments.
These golden ornaments/ attire are removed only during Abhisheka. The famous folklore behind the origination of this temple is Shiva and Parvati once visited the banks of the Bagmati River. They got attracted to the place so much that they decided to live there. They fictitiously took the form of two deer and started to live here. When the gods came to know about them, they requested Shiva and Parvati to return to the heavens. But Shiva and Parvati refused to do so. A fight took place and in the process, one big horn broke and fell on earth.
The place where the broken horn fell became a shiv linga. It was buried deep in the earth for many years and was lost. But one day, a cow came and started to milk that place by herself. Seeing this amazing phenomenon, the shepherd digs into the earth and finds the Shiv linga. This is one of the origins of Pashupatinath Temple.

Budanilkantha Temple

Siddha Gufa

Chitwan National Park

Earlier in 1800 AD this Chitwan National Park used to be a private hunting reserve for the Royal families.
